This privacy policy explains how the Punkkitutka Android app (“the app”, “we”) handles your information.
The app does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data. Everything happens on your device. The Camera permission is used solely to run on-device tick detection during the moments you have the app open.

We do not use the location, microphone, contacts, accounts, calendar, files, or any other sensitive permission.
Nothing. We do not transmit images, telemetry, crash reports, analytics, advertising identifiers, device identifiers, or any other data off your device.
The app does not contain ads, third-party SDKs that collect data, analytics SDKs, or any cloud connectivity in this version.
All ML inference (motion detection, tick classification, tick localisation) runs entirely on your device using the bundled neural network models. Camera frames are processed in memory and discarded; nothing is written to long-term storage.
The app is suitable for ages 13+. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from anyone, including children.
If a future version of the app adds any data collection (for example, optional cloud-based tick verification), we will update this policy and surface a clear in-app consent dialog before any data leaves your device. Until then, this policy stays accurate.
